Let’s face it some of that future is staring us in the face: for example, people have cochlea implants with embedded chips directly connected to the brain. How long before we use embedded chips with AI to dramatically enhance our analytical capabilities? Bionic limbs are here – why wouldn’t we want them – we can run faster, manipulate things quicker – makes sense doesn’t it? We’ve got all these wearable devices – why take them on and off….just - build them in! And then, of course, there’s the capability in the gene manipulation technology, CRISPR, where we can change biology. Of course, we won’t use it for anything bad, will we?
So when you apply all of these to Homo Sapiens, and we are, our evolution could take a completely different track: driven by technology we may become Homo Techno…….
